Currency info and actions
It is possible to use multiple currencies within RentMagic. The default currency is used to store the basic price data by the system, but by using another currency in combination with an exchange rate, other currencies can be used in reports and in the further operation of the system. Even if you do not want to work with multiple currencies, the default currency will always be present in the system, for example the Euro.
Settings > System > Currency.
The overview of all currencies within the system will now be opened.
To add a currency, click new.
Fill in all relevant fields on the screen to create the currency. Then click save to save the data. If you want to create an additional currency afterwards, you can click save and new .
If you want to change an existing currency, double-click on the relevant currency in the overview. The currency details screen will now be opened and you can make your changes there.
To edit an existing currency, double click on the label in the overview. In this window you can now make adjustments and click save when you're done. If the adjusted currency has already been used before, the existing currency will be adjusted throughout the system, except for the field exchange rate. The rate is a snapshot and is not automatically updated on existing records.
If you change the exchange rate in the currency table, the new rate is used when new data is created within RentMagic.
To remove a currency you can tick it by clicking the checkbox. Then click delete. The currency that you delete will not be deleted in the historical data of orders and invoices. These always remain transparent.
