Image format info
To make RentMagic more user-friendly, it is possible to add article images. It is of course also important if a webshop or informative website is linked. It is then possible for customers to see images accompanying an article.
During the commissioning of RentMagic, it is important to correctly store the article images in the database. In this module it is possible to specify how the images should be saved. You can store multiple images at once within the database. The advantage of this is that “scaling” does not have to be applied while showing the images. This benefits the performance of the system.
So think well in advance in which format you want to display the article images.
Settings > System > Image formats.
The overview of all image formats is now opened.
Add image format
If you want to add a new image format, press new.
In this screen you fill in all fields and click on save to save the data. Click on save and new if you want to add another image format directly.
Change image format
If you want to adjust an existing image format, double-click the relevant image format in the overview. The image format details screen will open and you can make your changes there.
You can always change an image format that you have captured. You do this by double clicking on the appropriate format. After changing the data, click on save to save the data. Note: existing images stored in the database with this format will not be automatically resized. Only new uploads of images will be saved in the new format. Take this into account. A drastic change in the formats means that the images will all have to be put back into the system.
Delete image format
You can delete a format if you no longer use it. The already used images that are stored in the database with this format will still remain. Only new upload of images will no longer be saved in this format. Select the check box for the image format you want to delete. Then click delete.
