For RentMagic rental software, information security and privacy are top priorities. This is why RentMagic is ISO 27001 certified and complies with the internationally recognized standard for information security. We also employ a number of additional security measures within RentMagic.

SSL certificate

For all connections to RentMagic we use SSL certificates that encrypt the information via an https connection. Check the current rating of our SSL certificates via this link.

Separate environments

Our architecture is designed so that customer environments are physically separated from each other. Each customer has its own application containers, so customers work in separate environments. Also, each customer has a separate database. This prevents data from different clients from getting mixed up.

Daily backups

Every day we make secure backups of data in different places. We keep these backups for a maximum of 30 days.

Multi-factor authentication

In addition to a unique username and password, we also offer multi-factor authentication. We strongly encourage all our customers to enable this for their account. We store passwords not as readable text but encrypted. We store passwords as an irreversible hash in our database.

Rights and authorization

Based on extended user roles, it is possible to assign specific modules and activities to specific people.

AVG / GDPR compliance

Within RentMagic it is possible to record the AVG / GDPR contact person within your organization and digitally sign the processing agreement. On the special GDPR compliance page you can see exactly which persons have, or had, access to the personal data in which way.

Secure data centers in Europe

Our servers and network connections run on secure data centers in the Netherlands to which European legislation applies. The following certificates apply to our data centers and infrastructure:
